We’ve been waiting for this.

We, as a collective, maybe not you, but some of the internet definitely has been.

Greta Gerwig has been making waves for years. For myself, Frances Ha changed my life. It’s absolutely my gateway feel better film. Her debut feature Lady Bird is a masterpiece that tucks on everyone’s heartstrings. I owe a lot to Greta’s films since one of my closest friends bonded over Frances Ha, and I wouldn’t be in a relationship if it wasn’t for Lady Bird.

The cast of Little Women is amazing. Based on the novel, Saoirse Ronan, Emma Watson, Florence Pugh, and Eliza Scanlen as the women. Timothée Chalamet and Tracy Letts return from Lady Bird and are accompanied by Laura Dern and Meryl Streep.

The trailer is wonderful. It looks to be shot on film – which is a great choice to fit with the time period. It is filled with laughter and love, and that’s something Greta is great at.

Little Women comes out on Christmas, so let us know if we’re the only ones planning to unwrap this as one of our presents.
