It’s finally here. I’ve been waiting and refreshing all day for this trailer.

A new horror film brought to you by André Øvredal, the director of Autopsy of Jane Doe, which is a great film and one that I urge you to seek out if you haven’t yet. The film is produced by none other than Academy Award Winner Guillermo Del Toro (a sentence I love writing). Based on the book series of the same name that was geared towards scaring the shit out of teens with grotesque imagery. Which works for myself, so I can imagine what it would have been like to a teenager reading it.

The film feels like a scarier version of Goosebumps and here’s a shocker, I kind of liked Goosebumps? So I’m very much into seeing these kids being chased by terrifying creatures that should not be alive but are.

Also, fuck spiders. That one is not okay.
