The whole MCU fandom might just be waiting for Captain Marvel and Avengers: Endgame but we Marvel has not forgotten about their future. The first film after Endgame is going to be the follow up to 2017’s Spider-Man: Homecoming. While not everything is known about the project, especially where it takes place in the MCU timeline.

 

 

After watching the trailer some nice surprise seems to be waiting for us, the first one being that Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) appears in the film. It also gives us the first look at some potential romances, not only between MJ and Peter but also between Happy and Aunt May. But probably the more exciting thing is our first look at Jake Gyllenhaal as the main villain of the film, Mysterio.

Spider-Man: Far From Home swings into theatres July 3rd, 2019, just three months after the released of Avengers: Endgame so I guess we will find out then where on the timeline this film will exactly fit.
