I don’t know how long I have been saying that I can’t wait for this movie. The people in my life have been hearing me talk about The Prom for way too long and with each day it comes closer and closer. Will it be good? God, I hope so because I need a good lesbian musical.

Because I have read the book, listened to the album and done a lot of research I am not going into the movie blindly. I know what to expect but watching this trailer I can say I am satisfied with how it doesn’t seem to give too much away. Because Netflix has this tendency of making trailers way too long and giving away way too much. The Prom looks to be a visually stunning film with bright colours and a soundtrack that will not get out of my head (the one from the musical never did and is still at the top of my musical list in terms of listening to cast album.)

With a stellar cast, great cinematography and a story that I am so excited to see on the screen, The Prom is sure to be a musical favourite for me. I can’t wait to sit down and watch it over and over again (hopefully).
