Since it’s premiere last year, I have been praising Killing Eve. In just eight episodes, the show was able to create one of the most dynamic relationships on television and yet only have it’s two main characters together for a handful of moments. Killing Eve brought something new in term of the cat and mouse story. With that, it also created opportunities for it’s two leading ladies to shine brighter than ever.

The first season of Killing Eve was one of the most entertaining television show of 2018, making its way to my first spot in my final list of television series of 2018. So to say that I was anticipating its return is just an understatement. I don’t think I have been this excited and scared for the return of a show. Because I loved the first season so much, I was just scared that it wouldn’t live up to what I had come to expect from this brilliant show. Not only that but Phoebe Waller-Bridge (Fleabag), the showrunner for the first season, had left her post as the lead writer to go make the second season of her brilliant series Fleabag. Instead, Emerald Fennell (Call The Midwife) took the reign of the show.
It’s peak television time, which means that way too often amazing shows pass by us before we even hear of them. You might think you are watching the best shows but you are probably missing some of the best television because no one can watch everything, and believe me I’ve tried. So I’ve decided to put together a small list of gems that not enough people watch and try to explain why you should.
